Decorative painting is so much more than “art"! Empathy, science, history, strategy, and humor bring the art into balance. I love collaborating with architects, designers and private clients to create the best possible results. My travels for research, and for pleasure, have increased my understanding and appreciation of period design. Color and pattern are particular passions of mine, and I enjoy the excitement, curiosity and faith required to bring a new design into being.

At Elisa Stancil Studios, an integrated team of fine artists, finishers, and graphic artists from America, Europe and Russia work together in California, and travel to our projects nationwide.
